The burning heart
Jesus appears after His resurrection to Cleopas & the other disciple on their way to Emmaus.
Jesus made many appearances to his followers over 40 days after His resurrection and prior to His ascension:
To Mary Magdelene & the other Mary. Matt. 28:1,9-10 & Mark 16:9.
To Simon Peter. I Corinthians:15:5.
To Cleopas & the other disciple on the road to Emmaus. Luke 24:13-32 & Mark 16:12.
To the 10 apostles with Thomas absent. John 21:19-24.
To the 11 apostles. Mark 16:14. John 20:26-27.
To the 7 by the sea of Galilee. John 21:1-2.
To 500 on a mount in Galilee. I Corinthians 15:6.
To James his brother. I Corinthians 15:7.
To the 12 apostles on the mount of ascension. Luke 24:50-51.
Final appearance was to Paul on the road to Damascus. I Corinthians 15:8.
