JESUS TO GOLGOTHA
Pilate speaks repeatedly to the Jewish leaders and asks “what shall I do with Jesus?”
They reply crucify him.
Pilate scourges Jesus, places on him a purple robe and a crown of thorns trying to appease the Jewish leaders, and twice says “I find no fault in Him.” John 19:1-3,6.
Pilate surrenders to the Jewish readers and delivers Jesus to be crucified. John 19:16.
