Abraham’s Greatest Test
Abraham called to leave his home and kindred in Ur of the Chaldees and go to a land He promised him and would make of him a great nation and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Gen.12:1- 3.
Abraham obeyed God showing tremendous faith in God. God’s covenant with Abraham. Genesis 15:5-6.
Abraham waited many years for God to give him his son Isaac. Genesis 21:1-5
God then asked him to sacrifice his son-a total shocking request. Genesis 22:1-2.
Abraham obeyed, believing God would raise Isaac from the dead. Genesis 22:5-8.
God provided the substitute lamb. Genesis 22:10-13.
Abraham the great man of faith.
