The Great Physician
The Great Physician is able to heal body and soul.
Jesus’s references to physician.
Jesus referring to His criticism in the Nazareth synagogue. Ye shall surely say unto me, physician heal thyself. Luke 4:16-24.
They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick…I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentence. Matthew 9:10-13. Also in Mark 2:17, Luke 5:31.
Jesus healing the diseased.
The woman who had a discharge of blood for 12 years. Jesus said to her “Daughter, your faith has made you well, go in peace, and be healed of you disease”. Mark 5:25-34.
Jesus heal’s Peter’s mother-in-law. Matthew 8:14-15.
Jesus heals the man with a withered hand on the Sabbath. Matthew 12:9-14.
And Jesus went throughout all the cities & villages…proclaiming the gospel… & healing every disease. Matt. 9:35.

When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick. Matt. 14:14-21.
A leper came to him, imploring him, “if you will, you can make me clean”. Jesus moved with pity, stretched out his hand and touched him and said “I will, be clean”. Immediately the leprosy left him. Mark 1:40-45.
God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. Acts 10:37-38.
