Laborers in the Vineyard Parable

The Kingdom of Heaven like unto a Householder with a vineyard. Matt. 20:1-16.

The Householder went out seeking workers early AM to late in the day.

He promises to pay them what is right.

The workers were hired at 6 am, 9 am, at noon, 3 pm & 5 pm.

At the end of the day, the Householder pays them all the same.

Those hired first complained-we worked all day.

The Householder’s reply: “I will give unto the last as unto thee”

This was Jesus’s reply to the Apostle Peter who had asked Jesus: “We have forsaken all and followed thee, what shall we have?”

Meaning of the parable: The reward of eternal life is the same for all who receive Jesus as Savior.
