There are many references to Living Water and Water of Life in the Bible
Old Testament verses referring to Living Water.
Isaiah 12:2-3. With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground: I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring…
Isaiah 55:1 Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters…
Isaiah 58:11. And the Lord will guide you…in scorched places…and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
Jeremiah 2:13. For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living water, and hewed out cisterns for themselves, broken cicterns that can hold no water.
Zechariah 13:1. On that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness.
Zechariah 14:8. On that day living waters shall flow from Jerusalem…to the east and west. It shall continue in summer as in winter.
Psalm 42:1-2…As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living water…
Psalm 63:1 …O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you, my soul thirsteth for you, my flesh faints for you as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
Ezekiel 36:24-25. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleanness, and from you idols I will cleanse you.
Joel 3:16-18. And in that day…a fountain shall come forth from the house of the Lord and water the valley of Shittim.
New Testament verses referring to Living Water and Water of Life.
John 3:3-5 Jesus answered “Truly I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.”
John 4:7-10-14. Whosoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
Matthew 5:6. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
John 7:37-38. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, “out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
John 4:13-15. Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinketh of the water that I give him will never thirst again. The water that I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water.”
John 7:37-38. On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me…out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them “Repent and be baptised…in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 5:25-26. Husbands love your wives just as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word.
Hebrews 10:19-22… Let us draw near to God with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from all evil concience and our bodies washed with pure water.
