Live for others
Proverbs Chapter 11 has a potpouri of proverbs.
Interpersonal relationships demand fairness, humility, integrity, mercy and generosity. He who waters will himself be watered. Proverbs 11:25b.
Reaching out to others. This applies to family and community. He that giveth will increase. He that withholdes will tend to poverty. vs. 24.
Followers of Christ should not live for themselves. II Corinthians 5:14-20.
Love of Christ constrains us in that he died for us, therefore we should not live for ourselves. vs. 14-15.
If anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature. vs. 17.
All things are of God who reconciled the world to Himself through Christ and has comitted unto us the miniatry of reconciliation by becoming ambassadors for Christ. vs. 18-20.
