There are 17 books of Old Testament Prophets: 5 Major Prophets and 12 Minor Prophets.
Major Prophets were Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekial and Daniel. Jeremiah also wrote Lamentations.

Written by the prophet Jeremiah after Jerusalem and it’s Temple were destroyed by the Babylonia Empire 586 B.C.

Period-from the 5th year of exile of Judah (593 B.C.) to the 27th year.

Daniel means God is Judge.
Date: 598 B.C. to 538 B.C.

Shadrach Meshach & Abednego
Book of Daniel written after Nebuchadnezar king of Babylon conquered Jerusalem and took the choice individuals as captives including Daniel, Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego.
