  1. Jesus the first and last. Rev. 1:8. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty

  2. On Thee my soul is cast. Psalm 55:22. Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee.: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

  3. Thou didst the work begin. Phil. 1:6 …He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

  4. By blotting out my sin. Psa. 51:1 …According to thy lovingkindness, according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

  5. Thou wilt the root remove. Matt. 15:13-24 He answered and said, every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up… Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind…both shall fall into the ditch.

  6. And perfect me in love. I John 4:12 …If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us.

  7. Yet when the work is done, John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

  8. The work is but begun; Phil. 1:6 …He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

  9. Partaker of Thy grace, Phil. 1:7 …I have you in my heart…ye are all partakers of my grace. I Peter 5:1 The elders among you I exhort, whom am also an elder and a witness of the suffering of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed.

  10. I long to see thy face; Rev. 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

  11. The first I prove below, I Cor. 13:12 For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

  12. The last I die to know, I Cor. 13:12 …but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
