Daniel
Dan. 1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim, king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem and besieged it.
Dan. 1:8-9 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the kings meat nor with the wine which he drank…Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
Dan. 2:47-48 The king answered unto Daniel and said, Of a truth it is “that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thiu could reveal this secret. Then the king made Daniel a great man…and made him ruler over the whole providence of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.
Dan. 3:16-18 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thy hand O king. But if not, be it known unto thee O king that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Dan. 3:24-26 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished , and rose up in haste and said did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire…and lo I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Then Nebuchadnezzar came near the mouth of the fiery furnace, and spake, and said Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God come forth.
Dan 3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake and said. Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who hath sent his angel and delivered his servants that trusted in him.
Dan. 4:24-25 This is the interpretation O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king. That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field…and seven times shall over thee, till thou know that the most high rulers in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomever he will.
Dan. 4:34-35 And at the end of the days, I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and my understanding returned unto me, and I praised and blessed the most High that liveth forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation.
Dan. 5:1-4 Belshazar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine…and he commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem…and the king, his princes, his wives and his concubines drank in them. They drank wine and praised the the gods of gold, of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood and of stone.
Dan 5:5-8 In the same hour came forth fingers of a man’s hand and wrote upon the plaster of the wall…then the countenence of the king was changed and his thoughts troubled him…and the king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans and the soothsayers…but they could not read the writing.
Dan. 5:13,16 Then was Daniel brought in before the king who said I have heard of thee that thou canst make interpretation and dissolve doubts…
Dan.5:22-28 …O Belshazzar thou hast not humbled thine heart…but hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven..the god in whose hand thy breath is has sent this hand and the writing says: God has numbered thy kingdom and finished it; Thou art weighed in the balances and found wanting. Thy kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.
Dan 5:30-31. In that night was Belshazar the king of the Chaldeans slain and Darius the Median took the kingdom…
Dan. 6:3-5 Then Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes because an excellent spirit was in him, and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel. they said “we shall not find occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
Dan. 6:7-9 …establishing the royal statute, afirm decree that whomsoever shall as petition of any god or man for 30 days save of the king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.
Dan. 6;10-11. When Daniel knew that the writing was signed…he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God as he did aforetime.
Dan. 6:16 then the king commanded and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, “thy God whom thou serves continually, he will deliver thee.”
Dan. 6;21-22 Then said Daniel unto the king…My God hath sent his angel and hath shut the lion’s mouth.
Dan. Ch.7 Daniel’s vision of the Four Beasts. Vs. 17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings which shall arise out of the earth.
Dan. Ch.8 Daniel’s vision of a Ram and a Goat. Vs.20-21 The Ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia, and the rough Goat is the king of Grecia…
Dan. Ch. 9&10 Daniel’s prayers and intercession for his people.
Dan. Ch 12 Prophecy of the End Time. Vs.1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time. And at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Dan. Ch. 12:13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shall rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of days.
Hosea (God is salvation)
Hos. 1:7 But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and I will save them by the Lord their God.
Hos. 2:q9 I will betroth you to me forever.
Hos. 2:23…And I will have mercy upon her that hath not obtained mercy, and I will say to them that were not my people, thou art my people; and they will say Thou art my God.
Hos. 6:1 Come let us return to the Lord for He has torn us but He will heal us, He has wounded but he will bandage us.
Hos. 6:6 For I desire mercy and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
Hos. 11:1 When Israel was a youth I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.
Joel (The Lord is God)
Joel 1:15 Alas for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
Joel 2:1-2 Blow a trumpet in Zion and sound an alarm on my holy mountain. Let all the inhabitants od the land tremble for the day of the Lord is coming, surely it is near. A day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness.
Joel 2:12 “Yet even now” declares the Lord, return to me with all your heart, and with fasting, weeping and mourning. Rend your hearts and not your garments. Now return to the Lord your God for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger abounding in lovingkindness, and relenting of evil.
Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.
Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.
Amos
Amos 2:6 Thus says the Lord, for three transgressions of Israel and for four I will not revoke it’s punishment, because they sell the righteous for money and the needy for a pair of sandals.
Amos 2:12 But you made the Nazarite drink wine, and you commanded the prophets saying “you shall not prophesy.
Amos 3:7-8 Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets. A lion has roared, who will not fear? The Lord has spoken, who can but prophesy?
Amos 4:12b …Prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
Amos 5:6 Seek the Lord and ye shall live…
Amos 9:11 In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen…and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old.
Amos 9:14-15 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them, and I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them says the Lord thy God.
Obadiah (means servant of Jehovah)
Obad. 1:3-4 The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high: that saith in his heart: Who shall bring me down to the ground? Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down saith the Lord.
Obad. 1:6,10 O how Esau will be ransacked and his hidden treasures searched out. Because of violence to your brother Jacob, you will be covered with shame, and you will be cutoff forever.
Obad. 1:12 Do not gloat over the day of your brother’s misfortune, and do not rejoice over the sons of Judah in the day of their destruction.
Obad. 1:15 For the day of the Lord draws near on all nations. As you have done so shall it be done unto you. Your dealings will return unto your head.
Obad. 1:17 But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
Jonah
Jonah 1:1-2 The word of the Lord came to Jonah…go to Ninevah that great city and cry against it for their wickedness has come before me.
Jonah 1:3 But Jonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.
Jonah 1:12 He said unto them, take me up and cast me forth into the sea, so shall the sea be calm unto you, for i know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.
Jonah 1:17 And the Lord appointed a great fish to swallow Jonah and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
Jonah 2:1 Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God out of the belly of the fish.
Jonah 2:7-9 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord: and my prayer came unto thee, into thy holy temple…I will sacrifice to thee with the voice of thanksgiving: I wii pay that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.
Jonah 2:10 And the Lord spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon dry ground.
Jonah 3:1-3 Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time saying go to Ninevah…so Jonah arose and went to Ninevah.
Jonah 3:4-6 And Jonah began to enter into the city, and he cried and said , yet forty days and Ninevah shall be overthrown. Then the people of Ninevah believed God…as did their king.
Jonah 3:10 When God saw their deeds, that they turned fron their wicked ways, then God repented concerning the calamity which He had declared He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.
Jonah 4:1-2 But it greatly displeased Jonah, and he was very angry…an said O Lord was not this what I said when I was still in my own country? For I know that Thou art a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, and one who relents concerning calamity.
Jonah 4:4 Then said the Lord “Doest thou well to be angry?”
Jonah 4:5-6 Jonah went out of the city till he could see what would happen to the city. The Lord appointed a plant to grow and be shade over his head…and Jonah was very happy about the plant.
Jonah 4:7-8 But the Lord appointed a worm at dawn the next day and it attacked the plant and it withered…and the sun beat upon the head of Noah, that he fainted and wished he would die.
Jonah 4:9-11 Then God said to Jonah “Do you have good reason to be angry about the plant…you had compassion on the plant for which you did not work or cause to grow…should I not have compassion on Ninevah the great city in which are more than 120,000 persons…as well as many animals.
Micah
Micah 1:3-4 For behold the Lord is coming…He will come and tread on the high places of the earth. The mountains will melt under Him and the valleys will split like wax before the fire and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
Micah 1:5 All this for the rebellion of Jacob and the sins of the house of Israel.
Micah 2:1-2 Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds…and they covet fields and take them by violence and rob a man of his house and inheritance.
Micah 3:8 I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord…to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
Micah 3:11 Her leaders pronounce judgement for a bribe. Her priests instruct for a price, and her prophets divine for money.
Micah 4:1-3 In the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord will be established as a chief of the mountains, it will rise above the hills and the people will stream to it. And many nations shall come and say, come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord and to the house of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths…and he shall judge among many people and rebuke strong nations…and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears in pruninghooks; Nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.
Micah 5:2 But as for you Bethlehem Ephratha…from you will go forth for me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago from the days of eternity.
Micah 5:4 And he will arise and shepherd His flock in the strength of the Lord.
Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee O man what is good, and what the Lord requires of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.
Micah 7:7 But as for me I will watch expectantly for the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise. Though I dwell in darkness, the Lord is a light for me.
Micah 7:18-19 Who is a Lord like thee, who pardons iniquity and passes over the rebellious acts of the remnant of His possession. He does not retain His anger forever because He delights in unchanging love. He will again have compassion on us; He will tread our iniquities under foot. Yes thou wilt cast all their sins into the depth of the sea.
Nahum
Nahum 1:3 The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.
Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publishers peace…
Nahum 3:1 Wo to the bloody city completely full of lies and robbery; the prey departeth not.
Nahum 3:18-19 Your shepherds are sleeping, O king of Assyria: thy nobles dwell in the dust. Thy people is scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathereth them. There is no healing of thy bruise, thy wound is grievous…for upon whom hath not thy wickedness passed continually.
Habakkuk
Hab. 1:2,5 O Lord how long will I cry and thou wilt not hear…for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe though it be told you.
Hab 1:6 For I will raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation…which shall possess the dwelling places that are not theirs.
Hab. 1:12-13 Art thou not from everlasting O Lord my God, mine Holy One. We shall not die…Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil…
Hab. 2:4 Behold his soul which is lifted up, is not upright in him: but the righteous shall live by his faith.
Hab. 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. as the waters cover the sea.
Hab. 2:19 Woe to him who says to a piece of wood “awake” to a dumb stone “arise”.
Hab. 2:20 But the Lord is in His holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before Him.
Hab. 3:2 O Lord I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.
Hab.3:17-19 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vine; the labour of the olive shall fall, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls. Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon my high places.
Zephaniah
Zeph. 1:6 I will stretch out mine hand upon Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests…and them that are turned back from the Lord…
Zeph. 1:14-15 The great day of the Lord is near…that day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress…
Zeph. 2:3 Seek ye the Lord all ye meek of the earth…seek righteousness, seek meekness…
Zeph. 2:11 The Lord will be terrible unto them, for He will famish all the gods of the earth.
Zeph. 3:12-13 I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord. The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity nor speak lies…The Lord has taken away thy judgement, and has cast out thy enemy.
Zeph. 3:17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.
Zeph. 3:20 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before you eyes, saith the Lord.
Haggai - First of the restoration prophets-520 B.C.
Hag. 1:2 “Thus says the Lord of hosts this people says the time has not come…for the house of the Lord to be rebuilt.”
Hag.1:4-6 Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses while this house lays desolate? Now therefore … “consider your ways says the Lord of hosts” You have sown much but harvested little, you eat but there is not enough to be satisfied…you have clothing but no one is warm enough, and he who earns, earns wages to put into a purse with holes.
Hag.1:12 Then Zerubbabel, and Joshua the High Priest with all the remnants of the people obeyed the voice of the Lord..
Hag. 2:3 Who is left among you who saw this temple in it’s former glory? And how do you see it now. does it not seem to you like nothing in comparison?
Hag. 2:6 For thus says the Lord of hosts: once more in a little while I am going to shake the heavens and the earth…the sea and dry land.
Hag. 2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former saith the Lord of hosts, and in this place I shall give peace.
Zechariah - has several mesianic prophesies
Zech. 1:2-3 The Lord hath been sore displeased with your fathers…therefore turn ye unto me saith the Lord of hosts and I will turn unto you.
Zech. 1:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it.
Zech. 2:10-11 Sing and rejoice O daughter of Zion; for lo I come and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord, and many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day…
Zech. 3:8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest…for behold I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
Zech. 8:7-8 Thus says the Lord of hosts; behold I will save my people from the east country and from the west country, and I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem, and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and righteousness.
Zech. 9:9 Rejoice greatly O daughter of Zion: shout, o daughter of Jerusalem: behold thy king cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation: lowly and riding upon an ass, the foal of an ass.
Zech. 11:12-13 And I said unto them if ye think good, give me my price, if not forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. And the Lord said unto me cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was priced at of them. And I took the pieces of silver and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.
Zech. 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth for his only son…
Zech 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
Zech. 14:9 And the Lord shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall be one Lord, and his name one.
Malachi:
A son honors his father and a servant his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me says the Lord. It is you oh priests who show contempt for my name. Ch. 1:6.
See I will send my messenger who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to His temple; the messenger of the covenant. Ch. 3:1
Return to me and I will return to you says the Lord Almighty. Ch. 3:7.
But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings.
