God’s eternal plan to send His Son to redeem mankind.

God’s promise to Abraham. Genesis 12:1-3.
The Lord said unto Abraham, get thee out of thy country and kindred unto a land I will show thee, and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee…and thou shalt be a blessing.
In thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
This was fulfilled in Jesus, the son of David, the son of Abraham who came to redeem sinful man.
A Son of king David will have an eternal kingdom. 2 Samuel 7:12-13.
When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever”.
This was fulfilled in Jesus. “This is the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah the son of David, the son of Abraham” (Matthew 1:1)
A virgin will give birth to a Son, and He will be called Immanuel (God with us). Isaiah 7:14.
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel”.
This was fulfilled when the angel said to Mary, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:26-35).
Jesus will be born in Bethlehem. Micah 5:2
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”
Fullfilled when Jesus was born in Bethlehem in the days of Herod the King. Matthew 2:1-2.
