The Book of Daniel

Daniel is the fifth of the Major prophets in the Old Testament.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace sheltered by the Pre-incarnate Christ.

Daniel was one of the most capable of the young men that had been taken captive when the Nation of Judah was taken into captivity by the Babylonian Empire in the year 598 B.C. Other capable young men were Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego.

The captivity was a fullfillment of the prophecy of Jeremiah.
