Thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful…Nehemiah 9:7

Seeking God’s pardon in the Old Testament
Moses instructing the people of Israel during the exodus from Egypt. Exodus 23:20-23.
Moses pleading for the people. The covenant renewed. Exodus 33:30-31 & 34:9-10.
Moses pleads for the people after they refuse to enter the promised land. Numbers 14:1-8,10,17-23.
King David pleads for God’s pardon. Psalm 25:4-11.
A God who freely pardons. Isaiah 55:6-7.
Israel restored from the Babylonian captivity. Jeremiah 50:20.
Job pleads with God to pardon his transgression. Job 7:21,10:1-2,16:20-21.
The Lord restores Job. Job:42:10,12.
